Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening applications for the 2026/2027 academic session are officially open.
Candidates who chose the university as their first choice can now apply online. The application portal is open from Monday, June 1, 2026, until Friday, June 19, 2026.
Applicants must score a minimum of 150 in the 2026 UTME. Eligible candidates must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2026. Registration requires five O’Level credits including Mathematics and English Language. A non-refundable processing fee of ₦2,000 applies to all submissions.

Admission Requirements
Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening applications for the 2026/2027 academic session are officially open.
Only Candidates who Scored 150 and above in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination {UTME} are qualified to apply.
Only Candidates that are at least 16 years’ old by September 30th, 2026 are eligible to apply.
Only Candidates with five (5) O ‘Level Credits (including Mathematics and English Language) at not more than two (2) sittings are qualified to apply.
Only Direct Entry Candidates with requisite ‘A’ Level plus ‘O’ Level qualifications are eligible to apply.
Payment of a non-refundable fee of Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000.00) only, (Bank/service charges excluded).
Procedure for Payment/Options

Generate your RRR number: Go to the University website (www.uam.edu.ng) ONLY (not Remita website) or a Bank Branch to generate your RRR number.

Candidates are required to provide correct information about their Candidature on the University portal and make a printout of the online Application Form from the University website.
Candidates are also advised to check the University portal for details on the commencement of the Post UTME Screening Exercise.

All Candidates are to note that only those who have uploaded their ‘O’ Level Results (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, etc.) onto Jamb CAPS (website) at any Jamb Office or any Jamb Accredited CBT Centre and have met all requirements stated above will be considered for admission.

Applicants must generate their Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) directly from the university website. Payments can be finalized using an ATM card, USSD, or bank transfer. Candidates must upload their verified O’Level results onto the JAMB CAPS portal. Failing to upload results or providing incorrect details leads to automatic disqualification.
