The UNIOSUN Admission process for the 2026/2027 academic session has kicked off with the release of the Post UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening forms.

Who is Eligible for the UNIOSUN Admission Post UTME Screening?
Candidates who scored at least 160 marks in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination may apply for the screening exercise.
Candidates must have chosen Osun State University as first choice or must be ready to change to UNIOSUN as first choice before admission will be considered.
What Is the UNIOSUN Cut-Off Mark for 2026/2027?
The general minimum UTME score for UNIOSUN Post UTME is 160.
Candidates who scored less than 200 will not be considered for the following programmes:
- Law
- Nursing
- Medicine
- Islamic Law
Candidates who chose any of these programmes with a score below 200 may change to any other relevant programme of their choice.
What Is the Age Requirement for UNIOSUN Admission?
Any candidate who will be less than 16 years of age as at 30 September 2026 should not apply.
This age rule follows the current national policy stated by the University.
What O’Level Results Are Required?
UNIOSUN will admit only candidates who have at least five credit passes in WAEC, NECO or NABTEB in relevant subjects, obtained at not more than two sittings.
For Medicine, Nursing, Islamic Law and Law, candidates are expected to have at least five credit passes in SSCE or NECO in relevant subjects at one sitting.
What Should Direct Entry Candidates Do?
Direct Entry candidates are to complete the screening form online through the University website.
They are also expected to read the University’s admission requirements before applying to any programme.
Are Transcripts Required for Direct Entry Admission?
Direct Entry candidates should forward their academic transcripts to the Registrar of Osun State University not later than Friday, 4 September 2026.
All Direct Entry candidates, including those on UNIOSUN IJMB and JUPEB programmes, must have obtained the Direct Entry form from JAMB and must also apply for the screening exercise.
What Is the Minimum Direct Entry Qualification?
The University may accept a minimum of Lower Credit for Direct Entry candidates.

How Will Candidates Register Online?
Candidates are to register online by accessing the University website, completing the application form and submitting it.
The registration portal is the UNIOSUN Post UTME application portal.

How Much Is the UNIOSUN Post UTME Form?
Candidates will pay N3,000 as portal access fee and N2,000 for Post UTME screening.
Payment will be made through the Remita Web PAY platform with ATM cards, including MasterCard, Verve Card and Interswitch-enabled cards.
What Should Candidates Do on JAMB CAPS?
The 2026/2027 admission exercise will be based on the Central Admission Processing System, CAPS.
All candidates are advised to upload their O’Level results to the JAMB CAPS portal, since this is a pre-condition for admission.
Can Awaiting Result Candidates Apply?
Candidates awaiting results should supply their results within one week of release.
A candidate who fails to take part in the screening exercise will not be considered for admission.
What Happens If a Candidate Gives False Information?
Candidates should provide correct details on the University portal.
Any candidate who supplies false information will be prosecuted by law enforcement agencies and the admission of such candidate will be withdrawn once discovered.
Any fee paid by a candidate who falsifies records or documents will not be refunded.
Will Admitted Candidates Undergo Medical Examination?
All candidates who are eventually admitted will undergo a mandatory medical examination.
The medical examination will include screening for drug use.

Submission of forms will close at 12.00 noon on Thursday, 17 September 2026.
