The university management has announced the release of the TASUED Post UTME Screening form for the 2026/2027 academic session, opening the doors for both UTME and Direct Entry (DE) applicants.

Registration kicks off today, June 23, and runs until July 10, 2026. Before you jump onto the portal, make sure you meet the baseline requirements. UTME candidates must have a score of 160 or above to be eligible.

Crucially, you must ensure that TASUED is set as your first-choice institution on the JAMB portal before the registration window is shut.

For  Direct Entry candidates, you will need to get your required academic documents ready for submission during the process. The great news for everyone this year is that the actual TASUED Post UTME Screening will be conducted entirely online. Your final evaluation will be calculated using a combination of your UTME scores and your O’Level grades, meaning a physical exam isn’t required.

Who is Eligible for the TASUED Post UTME Screening?

The online admission screening exercise is open to candidates who meet the stated admission conditions for UTME, Pre Degree Studies or Direct Entry.

Candidates who chose Tai Solarin Federal University of Education as their first-choice university during the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME and scored the minimum admissible score of 160 are eligible to take part.

Such candidates must also be at least 16 years old by 1 October 2026.

Can Pre Degree Studies candidates apply?

All Pre Degree Studies, PDS, students who have completed their studies and wish to be considered for admission into Tai Solarin Federal University of Education for the 2026/2027 academic session are eligible.

They must have chosen Tai Solarin Federal University of Education as their first-choice university during UTME and must have scored at least 160.

Can Direct Entry candidates apply?

All Direct Entry candidates, including TASCUED JUPEB candidates, who wish to be considered for admission into Tai Solarin Federal University of Education for the 2026/2027 academic session are eligible.

They must have obtained the Direct Entry Form from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB and they must have chosen Tai Solarin Federal University of Education as their first-choice university.

Can candidates change to TASUED?

Candidates who sat for the 2026/2027 UTME, scored 160 or above and are willing to make Tai Solarin Federal University of Education their first-choice university may apply after making the required change.

Candidates who did not initially choose TASUED as first choice should complete the change before registration for the screening exercise closes.

What are the general admission requirements?

Candidates must possess five O’Level credits in subjects relevant to the chosen course of study and the credits must be obtained at not more than two sittings.

Credit passes in English Language and Mathematics are compulsory for admission into all programmes at Tai Solarin Federal University of Education.

Candidates must ensure that their O’Level results are uploaded on JAMB CAPS before the admission screening exercise closes.

What should Direct Entry candidates submit?

All Direct Entry candidates are expected to submit the required documents at the Admission Office, TASUED, Ijagun.

The required documents are:

  • A copy of the Online Admission Screening Report
  • A copy of the Notification of Diploma, for TASUED Diploma candidates or NCE Result

This submission should be made immediately after the online screening process has been completed.

How will candidates apply for TASFUED Post UTME?

Candidates are to complete the registration through the University admission portal.

The official portal is TASUED admission portal.

The application procedure is as follows:

  • Visit the University portal and click the Apply Now link to access the admission portal.
  • Read the application instructions and click the Continue Admission button.
  • Select Undergraduate admission and click Apply beside the Post-UTME/DE application.
  • Enter the JAMB Registration Number and click the search button.
  • Fill the required fields and click Create Account.
  • Check the email address used for registration and click the verification link.
  • Use the login details sent by email for later access to the portal.
  • Make payment for the application fee through the online payment platform.
  • After successful payment, provide the required screening information.
  • Use the integrated O’Level Verification System to fetch the O’Level results.
  • Provide the Result Checker card details for the relevant examination body.
  • Confirm that the correct O’Level result has been fetched.
  • Use the Advisor stage to check eligibility for the first-choice programme.
  • Where eligibility is not met for the first-choice programme, click Use Advisor.
  • Click Check O’Level Qualification to see courses that match the JAMB and O’Level subject requirements.
  • Preview all supplied details carefully and certify that they are correct.
  • Submit the online application.
  • Print the application slip and screening slip for record purposes.

Only applicants who chose TASUED as first choice or changed to TASUED through JAMB CAPS can apply.

What details will be fetched from JAMB CAPS?

The candidate’s biodata, JAMB subjects, JAMB scores and programme choice will be fetched from JAMB CAPS.

Candidates will not be able to change those details on the University portal, so the JAMB profile should be checked before registration is completed.

How will TASUED conduct online screening and grading?

The screening of candidates will be based on a point grading system.

TASUED will use the UTME score and SSCE or its equivalent, grades from the five best relevant subjects for the candidate’s chosen course.

The O’Level Result Verification System and Programme Advisor modules have been added to the application portal for this purpose.

Where can candidates check subject requirements?

The relevant subject requirements for each programme are obtainable from the 2026 JAMB brochure, which is available online.

Candidates are advised to visit the JAMB website and study the O’Level subject requirements for their chosen course before taking part in the online admission screening.

When will TASUED Post UTME registration close?

The registration period will run from Tuesday, 23 June 2026 to Friday, 10 July 2026.
