Nigeria Police Academy Postgraduate Courses: NUC Approves 10 New Programmes 

Information regarding the newly accredited Nigeria Police Academy Postgraduate Courses has been officially released following a landmark development for advanced security and professional education in Nigeria. 

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has formally approved 10 new postgraduate programmes at the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil. This exciting news comes directly after a thorough assessment by the NUC resource verification team, who recently visited the campus to evaluate the Academy’s facilities, learning materials, and faculty readiness before giving the green light for these specialized advanced degrees. 

Approved Nigeria Police Academy Postgraduate Courses 

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has cleared the institution to offer advanced training across several specialized departments. The fully approved Nigeria Police Academy Postgraduate Courses now available for enrollment include:

1. Master’s in Crime Management, Prevention, and Control (MCM)

2. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Crime Management, Prevention, and Control

3. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Peace and Conflict Studies

4. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Police Studies

5. M.Sc. and Master’s in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship (MBA)

6. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) and M.Sc. in Management Studies

7. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) and M.Sc. in Law

8. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) and M.Sc. in Biochemistry

9. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) and M.Sc. in Financial Economics

10. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) and M.Sc. in Forensic DNA

The Nigeria Police Academy has long been dedicated to refining the skills and knowledge of senior police officers, however, with this new approval, the Academy is proud to open its doors much wider as the courses are open to all, including personnel from other security and intelligence agencies, and interested members of the general public.
