How to Print Your JAMB Mop-Up Examination Slip (Step-by-Step Guide)
The 2026 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) mop-up exam is officially happening on Saturday, June 13, 2026. Printing your JAMB Mop-Up Examination Slip is the final, non-negotiable step to secure your seat in the examination hall. If you completed your biometric verification during the main Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) but missed the actual test due to system glitches or other unexpected issues, this is your second chance.
The 2026 UTME was conducted between 23rd and 29th April, 2026. However, some centres experienced technical challenges which made it impossible for a number of candidates to sit the examination. In addition, some results were subsequently withdrawn over examination infractions, while some candidates who presented themselves for the examination could not be verified biometrically. All such candidates have been listed for the mop-up examination.
The mop-up examination represents the final phase of the annual UTME exercise and serves as an opportunity to address all outstanding examination challenges involving candidates who duly presented themselves but encountered difficulties in taking the examination.
Candidates in this category are advised to begin printing their Examination Notification Slips from Saturday, 6th June, 2026.
Affected candidates are hereby urged to print their Examination Notification Slips, once it begins and familiarise themselves with their examination centres, and make all necessary arrangements ahead of the examination date, as there will be no further opportunity for any candidate to sit the 2026 UTME after this mop-up exercise.

If you will be taking subjects that involve lots of calculations and may require multiple worksheets, you can consider printing two or three examination slips. This is a smart move that you can try. Some centres may allow you to carry both. However, if you ask the centre kindly, and they refuse, you can just dispose of one of them. So feel free to take two printed exam slips to your centre.
Printing your JAMB Mop-Up Examination Slip is the final crucial step to secure your seat in the examination hall. Without this physical slip, you will not be granted access to the Computer Based Test (CBT) center.
