Eligibility

​Candidates who obtained a score of 150 and above in 2026/2027 are eligible to apply.

​Direct Entry candidates must possess NCE/HND/First Degree, ‘A’ level or their equivalent in relevant disciplines.

​Candidates must have uploaded their qualifying results to JAMB CAPS. Failure to upload results to JAMB CAPS will disqualify a candidate for admission.

​Other qualified and interested candidates who did not make Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education, Owerri their first choice should also go to any JAMB accredited Centre or JAMB office including Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education CBT Centre to make Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education, Owerri their first choice of institution.

How to Apply

Visit www.alvanikoku.edu.ng

​Click Portal

​Click AIFUE Portal

​Select online screening form (Post UTME/Direct Entry)

​Select/Check the appropriate box

​Type in your JAMB Registration number

​Click proceed

​Fill the profile form correctly

​Select the programme type (Degree Regular OR Direct Entry/Post NCE)

​Click submit

​Click print invoice

​Proceed to Alvana Microfinance Bank or any other bank of your choice to make payment using Remita

​Return back to the AIFUE Portal to continue and complete the registration process

​Upload the following documents

a. Passport

b. O’level Result

c. Birth Certificate

d. Local Government Identification Letter

​Click Submit

​Print out the success page
