How Will Candidates Apply for BUK Post UTME Screening?

The application will be completed through the Bayero University online screening platform, which will be accessed from the Bayero University official website.

What are the BUK Post UTME Registration Steps?

The registration process should be completed with the candidate’s correct UTME details, because the JAMB photograph will be the valid identity photograph for admitted candidates throughout their stay at Bayero University, Kano.

  1. Visit the Bayero University website.
  2. Click “2026 UTME Online Screening Exercise” on the homepage.
  3. Log in with the UTME Registration Number as username.
  4. Use the UTME aggregate score as password.
  5. Fill the profile update form with the required details.
  6. Generate and download the BUK Personalised Payment Invoice, PPI.
  7. Use the Remita Retrieval Reference, RRR, on the invoice to pay the screening fee.
  8. Print the acknowledgement slip after successful payment.
  9. For bank payment, return to the portal and use the “check your payment” button before printing the acknowledgement card.

The candidate’s photograph uploaded from JAMB will be used as the valid identity photograph, so the screening profile should be treated as an official admission record.

How Much is the BUK Post UTME Screening Fee?

The screening fee is N2,000.

The Personalised Payment Invoice will contain a Remita Retrieval Reference for payment and candidates may pay online with a credit or debit card, internet banking or through any commercial bank nationwide after printing the invoice.

What Should Candidates do After Paying Through a Bank?

Candidates who pay through a commercial bank should return to the screening site and process the payment with the “check your payment” button.

The acknowledgement card can then be printed after the payment has been confirmed on the portal.

What are the O’Level Upload Rules for BUK Screening?

Candidates are advised to visit any JAMB office or accredited CBT centre nearest to them to upload their O’Level result or results on JAMB CAPS.

Accepted results include WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, NBAIS or equivalent qualifications.

Only candidates whose O’Level results are on JAMB CAPS can be proposed and recommended to JAMB for approval and a candidate may supply a maximum of two different O’Level examination results.
