How to Apply for UNILAG JUPEB Admission Form 2026/2027

UNILAG JUPEB Admission Form for the 2026/2027 academic session is now available, for candidates seeking JUPEB admission, with possible consideration for Direct Entry admission into 200 level degree programmes of the University of Lagos through JAMB, after a successful result from the approved examination conducted by the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board, JUPEB.
The programme offers a pathway into 200-level admission through the JUPEB scheme. Interested applicants are required to pay an application fee of N35,000, possess at least five O’level credits in one sitting, and participate in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) entrance examination.
Applications will close on 21 August 2026, while the entrance examination is scheduled for 5 September 2026.

Who can apply for UNILAG JUPEB admission?
Applicants must have a minimum of five credits, including English Language, Mathematics and three relevant subjects.
The five credits must be obtained in one sitting from SSCE/WASSC, GCE/O/L or NECO and the results must be obtained before registration.
Candidates are also expected to have passed the three required subject combination subjects at O’level with at least credit grades.
How much is the UNILAG JUPEB application form?
The cost of the application form is N35,000, excluding bank charges.
The fee is non-refundable and payment will be made with the payment reference number generated during the online application process.
When will the UNILAG JUPEB application open and close?
The application opens on Monday, 25 May 2026.
The application closes on Friday, 21 August 2026.

How can candidates apply for UNILAG JUPEB admission?
The School of Foundation Studies e-Application Form will be completed through the University application portal.
Step 1: Open the application portal
Candidates should visit the UNILAG School of Foundation Studies application site.
They should click Start a Fresh Application, then select School of Foundation Studies from the prospective students menu.
Step 2: Check the subject combination
Candidates should read the information on UNILAG Foundation Studies subject combinations that is relevant to the proposed course of study for Direct Entry admission.
Changes have been made to previous combinations, so candidates should check the details before completing the online form.
Step 3: Complete the pre-application form
Candidates should complete the Pre-Application Form to obtain a payment reference number, PRN.
The correct applicant’s names should be used as stated on the National Identification Number (NIN) slip.
The order of names should match the details on the NIN slip, birth certificate and O’level statement of result.
Step 4: Pay the application fee
Payment should be made at any commercial bank in Nigeria with the payment reference number, PRN.
The application fee is N35,000, excluding bank charges.
Step 5: Complete the application form
After payment, candidates should return to the UNILAG applications site.
They should log in with their PRN and use the applicant’s surname in lowercase as the password.
Step 6: Print the application copies
Candidates should complete the application form and print two copies for personal records.
The examination pass will be available through the email address provided, one week before the examination date and a copy should be printed and taken to the examination venue.
What should candidates know about subject combinations?
Candidates should read the subject combination information for the chosen course before filling the application form online.
They should ensure that the three required subjects have been passed at O’level with a minimum of credit.
Candidates with Mathematics as one of the three subject combinations will need to choose Further Mathematics as a subject in the entrance examination combination.
When will the UNILAG JUPEB entrance examination take place?
The entrance examination will be held on Saturday, 5 September 2026.
The examination will take place at the Distance Learning Institute, DLI and the Adetokunbo Babatunde Sofoluwe Centre for Information Technology and Systems, ABS-CITS, at the University of Lagos.
What is the UNILAG JUPEB examination format?
The mode of examination is Computer-Based Testing.
All questions will be multiple choice and candidates will answer Mathematics, English Language and three other relevant subjects according to their subject combination.
