Candidate Notes For The WAEC GCE Timetable

Difference Between Question Paper Duration And Timetable Duration

Where the duration printed on a question paper differs from the duration shown on the timetable, the duration printed on the question paper should be followed.

This rule gives the question paper precedence when the two durations are different.

Question Papers Issued Before Their Examination Dates

Special arrangements apply to Visual Art 3.

For Paper 3A, instructions will be given to supervisors two weeks before the paper is due to be taken; for Paper 3B, question papers will be given to candidates two weeks before the paper is due.

Extra Time For Candidates With Special Needs

Candidates with special needs should be allowed one and a half times the examination time allotted to other candidates.

The extra-time provision applies to their allotted paper duration.
